They were all different. My daughter was 2 1/2. My middle child was 3 1/2 and the youngest was almost 4.

I think the key to night time is making sure the child is physiologically ready. Some kids just aren’t ready at night time for a much longer time. With mine I didn’t have a problem, but like I said above, extra mattress covers for accidents, or even pull ups for just at night works for some parents.
