My daughter loves this recipe! She requests this almost every weekend and eats them up without butter or syrup. I also love how many it makes. I can freeze the leftovers and pop them in the toaster during the week. So much better than the store bought waffles. Thank you for letting my daughter think that mommy makes the best waffles ever!

Hi! Yes!! You can use salted butter. Just don’t add the salt that’s listed in the recipe if you use salted butter.

I just made these this morning and they are so yummy. I love that your waffles didn’t have tons of ingredients in them, unlike some others and I love the use of butter instead of oil and how little sugar was in them. Most recipes seem to call for more sugar and I find that unnecessary. Thank you for this recipe!

Okay, I actually see now that there are further instructions :p just throughout the blog post. As someone who uses their laptop to look at recipes while I cook, might I suggest editing the bottom part of your post with the numbered instructions by adding the rest of the steps you listed in your blog post? often times my hands are messy and if someone is just cooking by looking at the recipe instructions at the bottom, it’s annoying to have to go scroll back to try to find the next steps.

We made these for the first time a couple weeks ago and they are AMAZING. I’m getting ready to make them again this morning – even though they’re a little more effort than dumping mix in a bowl, the taste is so far beyond that that it’s worth it. Especially with some strawberries and whipped cream – yum!!

Thanks for the recipe, it’s definitely one that’s going into the family rotation!!
