Free LOVE Valentine’s Day Glitter Gold Banner

It just doesn’t seem possible that Valentine’s Day is just a few weeks away. Seems like just a few days ago I was taking down my Christmas decor…well, to be fair that actually was just a few days ago. Anyway, I wanted to add a little bit of festive color to my decor this year and I have a cute coordinating freebie just for you!

Just Print and Cut Out

I have been loving the digital gold glitter (all the sparkle, none of the mess!) so I decided to glam up my Valentine’s printables. It’s really easy to put together your banner. First of course you’ll have to decide which parts to use. There are four letters to spell out “LOVE” plus two decorative accents that you can use in place of the “O” or on the ends of the banner to some charm. Then print out the pages (there are three all together) and cut out the pieces. I recommend printing on cardstock, and for the best and brightest color, have your banner printed at a copy store. Use ribbon or string to tie the banner together, or just use a little hot glue or even double sided tape to attach the string to the banner.

Free Printable Patriotic Banner

Hi there! I’m Kristin back again from Yellow Bliss Road with some patriotic printables for the 4th of July! I love the 4th of July. Barbecues, friends, fireworks, what’s not to love?? It’s hard to believe that it will be here in just a little over a month, and we will be smack in the middle of summer already! It’s that time of year when people start thinking about adding a little patriotic color to their homes so I’ve designed a fun free printable patriotic banner for you.

Two Versions of Patriotic Banner – Red and Blue

There are two versions of the banner, one with red lettering and one with blue. Or you can mix it up and do a red and blue combo. There are also some pattered flags that you can add to either side of the banner.

Printable Banners Make Instant Party Decor

The banner would be a fun way to add some color to your 4th of July barbecue, or just to add some Americana to your mantel.

How to Print This Patriotic Banner

To put the banner together, you’ll want to start by printing the banner on cardstock. If you want the most vibrant colors, I’d recommend having it printed at a copy shop like Office Depot. It’s usually around fifty cents a page. Cut the flags out that you want to use and attach them together with twine by punching holes in the corners and stringing the twine through. You could also ties the corners together with some pretty ribbon.

Coordinating Patriotic Printables

These would be super fun for a neighborhood party or for stumping your kids!

Free Printable Fall Wreath Signs

Hello! It’s Kristin here again from Yellow Bliss Road with some free fall printables to help you get in the autumn mood. And trust me, here in Southern California, we need help getting into the autumn mood – it’s 101 degrees outside!

While we are having our annual heat wave, many other parts of the country are enjoying cooler temps, falling leaves and Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Since it doesn’t actually *feel* like fall, I decided to make some signs to help add to the feeling of fall around my home.

When I came across this wheat wreath graphic, it just was so beautiful to me. I love the simple colors, and thought it was such a beautifully understated way to welcome fall. I added some of my favorite autumn words in one of my favorite “Bombshell” font. Pretty and simple – my two favorite ways to decorate!

I love old rock and roll and folk rock music, and I’ve always been a fan of bands like the Allman Brothers and Van Morrison. While I was thinking about what to share with you guys this month, I came across this song lyric from Van Morrison:

“Smell the sea and feel the sky. Let your soul and spirit fly.”

It just reminds me of being at the beach, walking along the sand or the pier. Living in Southern California we get to do that a lot! I thought it would be beautiful paired with an oceany blue water background. I also created a second version with a white background and the text with the pretty watercolor overlay.

I’m in love with this quote and I love how it flows so well with the lyrics. I hope you love it too! Here are the printables:

We are nearing the home stretch of the school year, and what better way to build up the excitement than with your own Countdown to Summer Printable?!

My kids started a new school this past week. Yes, I realize it’s a little late in the year to be changing schools, but we had some very good reasons. Anyway, it’s been a tough transition and needless to say they are looking forward to summer even more. They have been hounding me about the last day of school – “When is it?” “How many more days??” so I decided to give them a little visual aid. We have a calendar but to count each of the days every day, while educational, was getting kind of tiresome.

To use this countdown, print it out using the download link below, and place it in an 8×10 picture frame with a glass or clear plastic top layer. Using a dry erase marker, write the number of days left until school is out for the summer. The hard part is going to be remembering to do this each day, but I have a feeling my kids won’t let me forget!

As summer gets even closer, you can using the coordinating Free Printable Countdown to Summer Chain that you can find over at Yellow Bliss Road today. The chain links are also printable and come in 15 different designs. Make your chain as long or as short as you wish!

I have been obsessed with metallics lately – shiny, glittery golds and silvers really can make my heart go pitter-patter! In fact my Christmas tree is covered in golds, and whites. Isn’t it funny how our tastes evolve as we grow older? I used to really dislike gold, copper and really any warmer tones. Now I’m completely the opposite. I’ve been attracted to a more modern look as well (another style evolution), so I decided to marry the two and create this beautiful modern/glam printable gift tag set.

The black, white & gold tags are just for you, and the gold & silver printable gift tags and the coordinating sign is available on my blog today (there also happens to be a party going on where you can snag 22 more free printables!)

I used a couple of the tags along with the sign to dress up my Christmas wreath on my mantel. See? Tags aren’t just for gifts! I’m calling my my brown paper packages Christmas wreath. (Just try not to get that song stuck in your head now – I’ve been singing it all day!).

I can hardly believe Thanksgiving is just weeks away. It feels like my kids just started school, but they’ve already been in school for eight weeks! I guess it just means we’re getting closer to my favorite time of the year. I love November and December. They are by far my favorite months. It’s crazy and insanely busy, and the house doesn’t stay as clean as I’d like, but my kids are excited and full of wonder and imagination and it just makes me happy. What better way to kick off the season than with a huge Thanksgiving feast!

I don’t know about you, but we always have leftovers after Thanksgiving dinner. These cute printable Thanksgiving Leftovers Tags will be perfect for dressing up your leftovers to send home with your guests! Stuff them with turkey, cookies, pie, or containers of mashed potatoes and stuffing.

*Tip: keep a roll of parchment paper and some baker’s twine on hand for wrapping up leftover turkey.

The toppers come in two sizes and three different designs. The larger ones will fit on a quart sized ziploc bag, and the smaller fit perfectly atop standard size brown paper lunch sacks. (Make sure to get the standard size, not the large – I get mine from Target). No need to get fancy, just staple them to the top of the bags.

Everyone loves to take home a bag of cookies, and my Oatmeal Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies would be a welcome take-home treat.

Have you ever remodeled a kitchen? Or a bathroom? ‘Cause I’m doing both, and throwing a second bathroom in for good measure and I’m beginning to think I’m a bit on the crazy side. I’m sharing the design plans for my gray and white kitchen today, and wait til you see the “before” shots – well actually they are “now” shots. The 1960s called and they want their kitchen back! Anyway…I am so excited to finally be able to make my dream kitchen happen and I can’t wait to be able to share it all when it’s finished. It’s an emotional journey, and I hope you’ll stop by and be a part of it.

As I was planning my kitchen, I knew I wanted to personalize it with some artwork that I created. I have always loved the “Whip it Good” printables with the whisk, and thought I’d create a set of printables that were music inspired for my kitchen. I am a huge fan of music, so I knew these prints wold be a perfect fit. I know that just looking at them in my kitchen will make me want to dance! I love S’Mores – they are the king of summer desserts! In case you don’t know what S’Mores are, they are basically heaven on a graham cracker…a creamy milk chocolate bar topped with a gooey roasted marshmallow all sandwiched between two graham crackers. If you’ve never tried one, you must! They are super easy to make at home in the microwave anytime you have a craving, and of course they are best when roasted over a BBQ or a fire pit. Just be sure to have some hand wipes close by, because they get messy!

Did you know that there’s even a national day dedicated to this amazing dessert? National S’Mores Day is August 10. This S’Mores gift idea is perfect for delivering to a neighbor or a friend to help them celebrate! (Maybe they’ll even invite you to join them!). The gift as pictured makes four S’Mores sandwiches. You could of course place the ingredients in any size container, and customize the amount for individuals (think party favors!) or for a whole family.

Here’s what you will need:

• Four Graham Cracker sheets
• Eight large marshmallows
• 8 Mini Hersey Chocolate Bars (they are sold in packages of 8) or 2 regular sized bars
• 1 quart Wide Mouth Mason Jar
• Printable gift tag (below)

To assemble, place the graham crackers in the jar first, then the chocolate bars, and finish with the marshmallows.Replace the lid. Wrap ribbon or twine around the lid and secure the S’Mores printable gift tag. Then wow your friends and neighbors with your amazing and thoughtful gift!

Of course you don’t have to go the traditional S’Mores route, you could use Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups instead of chocolate bars, or Chocolate Chip Cookies instead of Graham Crackers. Or if you really want to impress your friends, fill the jar with my S’Mores Oreo Brownies. Trust me, you will be everyone’s BFF with those bad boys!
