I love to do special things for my kids for Valentine’s Day. Here is a simple free printable Valentine that you can print off for anyone in your life. Just add why that person is special to you. Valentine “You Light Up My World” Printables.

You can print one off and give it with a special note, along with a box of light bulbs. Or you can print off a few and write many different things that person does that are special to you and then hang them from lights throughout the house or in their room!

My friend Amy Dott’s dad actually came up with this idea many years ago and when Amy told me about it I thought it was just the cutest idea!!

Somehow these feathery pens made their way into Aimée’s shopping cart, and she designed the most adorable class valentine to go with them. Bettijo’s daughters went wild over these, so we’re pretty sure they will be a hit with your girls too.

This free template is available in the color version shown but also in black and white for those who prefer their feather pens to be more in the style of Elle Woods than Fancy Nancy.

TO MAKE: Download our free printable Fancy Valentine Template and print in color on white cardstock. Cut out each card and have your child sign her name. Using a craft knife, cut two, 3/4-inch slits. Slip a feather pen through, and you’re ready to give.

Here is the fourth of four fun valentine’s day printable sets I’m sharing today. (When I was at Target a couple of weeks ago I spotted some little gifts that I thought would make awesome Valentine gift ideas. So I made some Valentine’s Day printables to go with them! (my techy husband helped me – he’s so sweet!))

This Lucky printable would be great to give along with these $1 dice, or a pack of cards, or a package of fortune cookies or even a little mini-Magic 8 Ball!!

Hello, TT&J readers! It’s Amy from Positively Splendid, my cozy little corner of the blogging realm where I share all about my passion for creativity in just about every form imaginable: sewing, crafting, home decorating, cooking and more.

I couldn’t be more delighted to be here today at Jen’s place to share a fun Valentine’s Day idea that is perfect not only for entertaining, but also for kiddos to hand out to their friends at school. My Love Potion Valentines include everything needed to make a yummy serving of ruby-red love potion: bottled water, a single serving of cherry Kool-Aid, and a fun paper straw to drink it all down!

These treats are a breeze to put together, and especially when you commission the help of little hands. I’m even providing the free printable tags to make the whole process even more of a snap! Let me show you how it’s done.

For this project, you will need…

• Love Potion No. 9 Tags (click the link for the free printable)

• White cardstock
• 2-inch round punch
• Hole punch
• Patterned scrapbooking paper
• Paper trimmer
• Twine or ribbon
• Glue dots
• Bottled water
• Single-serving red drink mix packets (I used Cherry Kool-Aid Singles)
• Paper straws

 

You are finished!

These tags would also be perfect for attaching to your favorite package of soda – one on each bottle of a 6-pack!

I had such a fun time making the Halloween Eye Chart Printable I thought it would be cool to make a Free Valentine’s Day Eye Chart Printable too!

I love this time of the year!

 I used the Beatles iconic Love Is All You Need lyrics for inspiration. And I made a few different colors and patterns — so you have a few different versions to choose from. 

I put mine in scrolly frames and added them to my mantel, along with some homemade paper pinwheels — more on how to make those soon! I also used the same red door from my Chrismas mantel: 

 I love using things more than once. 

This is an easy way to decorate for the big V-day. All you have to do is print off the printables for Valentine decorating FUN. I’ve included files for 11 x 14, as well as 16×20. All you have to do is send the file to your local Costco or Walgreens to have them printed off.

Just pop these in a frame and you have a FESTIVE was to decorate!!

If you’re printing these at Costco or a similar photo place, you will generally have to print from a JPG-formatted file. I created these to print well at the 11×14 size to fit my frames (they print out a bit narrower than the photo size and you just trim them to fit).
