<div align="center"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="color: teal;">Welcome to my quest to refashion my wardrobe!</span> </span></div>

<div align="center">I decided to add some embellishments to one side of it, using some of my fabric scraps from my craft room. This is a 1.5 hour project, just because making the rosette flowers are a little time consuming.<br />

<div align="center"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">2.</span> Take two of the fabrics and ruffle it up by sewing a big seam down the center of the fabric. I used 4 feet of 1” strips to make the ruffle on my sweater.</div>
<div align="center"><a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TYegF08gv_I/AAAAAAAAPGM/Cfyzm8LC5dw/s1600-h/green%20sweater%20zig%20zag%5B8%5D.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" style="background-image: none; border-width: 0px; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="green sweater zig zag" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TYegGqT8-gI/AAAAAAAAPGQ/ZCJddyPI2_k/green%20sweater%20zig%20zag_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="green sweater zig zag" width="430" height="640" border="0" /></a></div>
<div align="center"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">3.</span> Once the strips are ruffles, lay them on one side of the sweater in a zig zag pattern.</div>
<div align="center"><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TYegHbi4cXI/AAAAAAAAPGU/ZanNaX1hMBo/s1600-h/green%20sweater%20pin%20the%20ruffles%5B9%5D.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" style="background-image: none; border-width: 0px; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="green sweater pin the ruffles" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TYegIBByEZI/AAAAAAAAPGY/ygPndTmDMoM/green%20sweater%20pin%20the%20ruffles_thumb%5B3%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="green sweater pin the ruffles" width="430" height="640" border="0" /></a></div>
<div align="center"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">4.</span> Pin the ruffles in place. Then sew the ruffles onto the sweater.</div>
<div align="center"><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TYegIvSvR2I/AAAAAAAAPGc/pUpB4wC15ZY/s1600-h/green%20sweater%20make%20rosettes%5B9%5D.jpg"><img decoding="async" style="background-image: none; border-width: 0px; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="green sweater make rosettes" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TYegJclXVgI/AAAAAAAAPGg/a8xCGW4Jaco/green%20sweater%20make%20rosettes_thumb%5B3%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="green sweater make rosettes" border="0" /></a></div>
<div align="center"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">5.</span> Now make some fabric flowers with the other fabric strips. I have a <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><strong><a href="http://tatertotsandjello.blogspot.com/2010/10/inexpensive-feminine-gift-idea-to-make.html">fabric rosette tutorial</a></strong></span> on how to make fabric flowers if you want to check it out.</div>
<div align="center">I made 9 different flowers in different sizes. To make the flowers different sizes, all you do is use different lengths of fabric strips. The shorter the length of fabric = the smaller the flower.</div>
<div align="center"><a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TYegJ8J_1QI/AAAAAAAAPGo/JV9wPrinR3U/s1600-h/green%20sweater%20weigh%20down%5B5%5D.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" style="background-image: none; border-width: 0px; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="green sweater weigh down" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TYegK7ARvxI/AAAAAAAAPGs/ER7_8SEgu5k/green%20sweater%20weigh%20down_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="green sweater weigh down" width="431" height="640" border="0" /></a></div>
<div align="center"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">6.</span> Once your flowers are done, use a needle and thread to attach them to the sweater. I also put some <a href="http://www.beaconfabric.com/vindex.html?cat88.htm">Beacon fabric glue</a>under the flowers to keep them even more securely in place.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nPCMGAqrVYE/TZpaGd0KV9I/AAAAAAAAPko/8fX0WLz8i1Y/s1600/beacon+fabric+tac+glue.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nPCMGAqrVYE/TZpaGd0KV9I/AAAAAAAAPko/8fX0WLz8i1Y/s320/beacon+fabric+tac+glue.jpg" alt="" width="282" height="320" border="0" /></a></div>
</div>
<div align="center"><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TYegLYEkQtI/AAAAAAAAPGw/W48jb2-m7Ok/s1600-h/after%20green%20and%20white%5B10%5D.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" style="background-image: none; border-width: 0px; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="after green and white" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TYegMOJTMYI/AAAAAAAAPG0/gAcLCbFOltQ/after%20green%20and%20white_thumb%5B4%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="after green and white" width="417" height="640" border="0" /></a></div>
<div align="center"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">7.</span> If you are using fabric glue, you can use some weights like books to press the flowers onto the sweater securely. <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><strong>Note</strong></span> – if you are using fabric glue, be sure that there is some wax paper underneath the sweater so the fabric glue doesn’t seep through the front of the sweater onto the back. I found this out the hard way – lol!</div>
<div align="center"><a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TYegM8Qv8uI/AAAAAAAAPG4/UJpcQSmBqPQ/s1600-h/fray%20check%5B3%5D.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" style="background-image: none; border: 0px none; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="fray check" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TYegNkFM2OI/AAAAAAAAPG8/sQ8HlmCWdVQ/fray%20check_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="fray check" width="309" height="411" border="0" /></a></div>
<div align="center"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">8.</span> And if you don’t like the frayed look of the unfinished edges, use a product like “<a href="http://ordyandjoon.blogspot.com/2011/03/when-life-hands-you-lemons.html">Fray Check</a>” on the edges. This will stop the edges from fraying.</div>
<div align="center"><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TYegOqTrGVI/AAAAAAAAPHA/tk8QJ7Qui50/s1600-h/closeup%20green%20and%20white%5B4%5D.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" style="background-image: none; border: 0px none; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="closeup green and white" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TYegPruDvEI/AAAAAAAAPHI/JbRCkhpMi5s/closeup%20green%20and%20white_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" alt="closeup green and white" width="608" height="409" border="0" /></a></div>
<div align="center"><span style="color: teal;">Then you are done! </span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<ul>
<li><strong>Now sew the buttons in the circle of each flower. </strong></li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<ul>
<li><strong>The last thing to do is put a circle of fabric glue under some the edges where the flowers are droopy. Or you can put a quick stitch through the material. </strong></li>

<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><strong>My second sweater refashion is a plain, black Target sweater that I bought last year.</strong> It was too plain. So I decided to embellish it a little.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-9wGxlSqV4gY/TW6KVviDyII/AAAAAAAAOyw/46LcklQpFW0/s1600/before+black+sweater.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-9wGxlSqV4gY/TW6KVviDyII/AAAAAAAAOyw/46LcklQpFW0/s400/before+black+sweater.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="267" border="0" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><strong>This refashion also uses a scarf.</strong> This is the problem &#8212; I buy scarves because I think they are so adorable but then I never feel like I know how to wear them. Or I feel too self-conscious to wear them. So I also had this scarf that I had bought, also at Target, about a year ago. I love the pattern and colors.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jDfe05zUsnA/TW6KcQXDyfI/AAAAAAAAOy0/sejWsSOQLfk/s1600/the+scarf.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jDfe05zUsnA/TW6KcQXDyfI/AAAAAAAAOy0/sejWsSOQLfk/s320/the+scarf.jpg" alt="" width="320" height="214" border="0" /></a></div>
<p><span id="more-3607"></span></p>
<ul>
<li>I took the scarf and cut it into 8 inch wide sections, then sewed all the sections together to make one long piece. Then I folded it in half width-wise. And I sewed a long stitch all the way down the scarf, creating a long ruffle.</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;"> <a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-5-UWfHhGWG8/TW6Kpz4rTjI/AAAAAAAAOy4/0igmrfBJuYg/s1600/the+ruffle.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-5-UWfHhGWG8/TW6Kpz4rTjI/AAAAAAAAOy4/0igmrfBJuYg/s200/the+ruffle.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="133" border="0" /></a></div>
<ul>
<li>I pinned the ruffle to the inside of the sweater opening and all the way along the collar, down the other side of the sweater. {I adjusted the ruffles so they were all even and the length fit the length of the sweater opening}</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;"> <a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Qjk4EVQmHmI/TW6K67XReHI/AAAAAAAAOzA/xPggTguHki0/s1600/pinning+the+scarf.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Qjk4EVQmHmI/TW6K67XReHI/AAAAAAAAOzA/xPggTguHki0/s400/pinning+the+scarf.jpg" alt="" width="267" height="400" border="0" /></a></div>
<ul>
<li> Then I added some pretty trim to the outside of the sweater opening. I found it at JoAnnes. I think it really pops against the black.</li>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-fZlSRoLOLno/TW6LrXxENBI/AAAAAAAAOzI/jhenhITd3Yg/s1600/closeup+scarf.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-fZlSRoLOLno/TW6LrXxENBI/AAAAAAAAOzI/jhenhITd3Yg/s320/closeup+scarf.jpg" alt="" width="214" height="320" border="0" /></a></div>
<ul>
<li>I also added a little ruffle to the sleeves.</li>
</ul>

<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><strong>Now, let me preface this by saying that I have only been sewing for about a year.</strong></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><em>So these are really easy, straight-stitch kind of projects!!</em></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Kr8cwLc4zEk/TWytNO_7y7I/AAAAAAAAOxk/L8I9A5bN8WM/s1600/closeup.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Kr8cwLc4zEk/TWytNO_7y7I/AAAAAAAAOxk/L8I9A5bN8WM/s400/closeup.jpg" alt="" width="372" height="400" border="0" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">The first one I&#8217;d like to share is also one my favorites {I have 11 to share}.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><strong>This is a kind of coral v-neck sweater with a blue and white<span style="font-size: large;"> nautical </span>mix. </strong><em style="color: #073763;"><span style="font-size: large;"> </span></em></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><em style="color: #073763;"><span style="font-size: large;">I love this color combination for Spring!! </span></em></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Vk5qGeP5r2M/TWyjVqZFguI/AAAAAAAAOxQ/mMSj1R16tcg/s1600/add+a+flower.jpg"><br />
</a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-XpChDrP4NxY/TWyhQyU0u4I/AAAAAAAAOw4/wYHfb6L5hz4/s1600/flower+outside.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-XpChDrP4NxY/TWyhQyU0u4I/AAAAAAAAOw4/wYHfb6L5hz4/s640/flower+outside.jpg" alt="" width="427" height="640" border="0" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-jBCuaUz0WxI/TWyd8Wafk4I/AAAAAAAAOwk/gVFA2RvqxJw/s1600/orange+and+blue+sweater+before.jpg"><br />
</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><strong>I started with a plain sweater, a scarf and an old coral/orange t-shirt. </strong></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-qTjFnOjK7GI/TWydwgUDv1I/AAAAAAAAOwg/3XUcD9VY5OY/s1600/orange+and+blue+after.jpg"><br />
</a></div>
<p><span id="more-3604"></span></p>
<ul style="text-align: center;">
<li> I laid the scarf on top of the sweater and draped it from one shoulder down to the opposite side of the waist. And then I made ruffles down the length and pinned those in place.</li>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-jBCuaUz0WxI/TWyd8Wafk4I/AAAAAAAAOwk/gVFA2RvqxJw/s1600/orange+and+blue+sweater+before.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-jBCuaUz0WxI/TWyd8Wafk4I/AAAAAAAAOwk/gVFA2RvqxJw/s640/orange+and+blue+sweater+before.jpg" alt="" width="640" height="428" border="0" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<ul style="text-align: center;">
<li>After they were all pinned, I sewed three straight lines with my sewing machine down the scarf, attaching it to the sweater. You can sew more lines down the scarf if you like a less poufy type of garment.</li>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-iTodv6_y5nQ/TWyhYfNNgUI/AAAAAAAAOw8/Ddp9JLS1fMQ/s1600/old+tshirt.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-iTodv6_y5nQ/TWyhYfNNgUI/AAAAAAAAOw8/Ddp9JLS1fMQ/s400/old+tshirt.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="267" border="0" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<ul style="text-align: center;">
<li>Then I took an old t-shirt that&#8217;s too small for me and is about the same color as the sweater and cut about 20 four-inch circles out of the material.</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"> <a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-n94ZdMXAp-o/TWyhrEqvpsI/AAAAAAAAOxA/_x47vLpPtII/s1600/circles.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-n94ZdMXAp-o/TWyhrEqvpsI/AAAAAAAAOxA/_x47vLpPtII/s320/circles.jpg" alt="" width="320" height="214" border="0" /></a></div>
<ul style="text-align: center;">
<li>I then made a very fluffy flower. I used my Big Shot machine to cut the circles, but you could also hand sew them. I sewed it all together and attached it at the bottom with a piece of felt. Then I sewed the flower onto the top of the scarf.</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;"> <a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-BME1QAtaUI8/TWyh5TDplFI/AAAAAAAAOxE/Qyr-4mZCasg/s1600/flower.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-BME1QAtaUI8/TWyh5TDplFI/AAAAAAAAOxE/Qyr-4mZCasg/s320/flower.jpg" alt="" width="320" height="214" border="0" /></a></div>

<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="font-size: large;">Very easy refashion!! Total time &#8212; 30 minutes &#8211; 1 hour.</span></strong></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-AG-c9cOoUAg/TWyiQsFs3fI/AAAAAAAAOxM/pT8XfpWC3rw/s1600/orange+and+blue+sweater+on+tree.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-AG-c9cOoUAg/TWyiQsFs3fI/AAAAAAAAOxM/pT8XfpWC3rw/s640/orange+and+blue+sweater+on+tree.jpg" alt="" width="428" height="640" border="0" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Total cost &#8212; $12 for the sweater {I already had the scarf and the old t-shirt}</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><em><span style="font-size: x-small;">Sorry my pictures are a little blurry. I was going to take some new ones but have been sick.. </span></em></div>

<div style="text-align: center;"></div>

<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">I had some<span style="font-size: large;"> leftover supplies</span> from a few projects and decided to redo one of my <b><span style="color: #c27ba0; font-size: large;">Spring sweaters.</span></b>&nbsp;</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6l6vnyx0UI/AAAAAAAAJqA/uTB07e3JG10/s1600-h/the+supplies.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6l6vnyx0UI/AAAAAAAAJqA/uTB07e3JG10/s576/the+supplies.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">I used some buttons covers from my <a href="http://tatertotsandjello.blogspot.com/2010/03/spring-has-sprung-project.html">Spring Ring Project</a>, some fabric scraps from my <a href="http://tatertotsandjello.blogspot.com/2010/03/ruffled-burlap-easter-wreath-tutorial.html">Spring Burlap Wreath</a> and some ric rac from a project that&#8217;s being posted tomorrow.</div>
<p></p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6l7ajZsdHI/AAAAAAAAJqo/DSbiXYggrYQ/s1600-h/middle+closeup.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6l7ajZsdHI/AAAAAAAAJqo/DSbiXYggrYQ/s576/middle+closeup.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">I hardly ever wore this sweater before because it was always kind of &#8212; <b style="color: #a64d79;">BLAH</b>&#8230; So &#8212; if you want a quick, easy way to add some<span style="color: blue; font-size: large;"> pizazz</span> to a sweater &#8212; try this!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6l7BKmopDI/AAAAAAAAJqQ/zHLgUYMml3o/s1600-h/with+the+buttons.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6l7BKmopDI/AAAAAAAAJqQ/zHLgUYMml3o/s320/with+the+buttons.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6l_8shLLzI/AAAAAAAAJqw/1foqzwYxK2Y/s1600-h/ric+rac.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br />
</a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
<ol>
<li>First I covered the buttons with fabric. Very easy &#8212; use a pencil eraser to push the prongs through the material and then snap on the back.</li>
<li>Then I cut off the existing buttons.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Next,&nbsp; I took a piece of big ric rac I had laying around and stitched it onto the sweater &#8212; right over where the buttons were. {If you don&#8217;t have a machine, you could use fabric glue or Stitch Witchery} <span style="font-size: x-small;">I tucked the ends of the ric rac under the top and bottom of the sweater and they were secure when I stitched it into place.</span></li>
<li>Then&nbsp; I used a needle and thread to attach the new buttons to the sweater.&nbsp;</li>
</ol>
<p></p>

<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: large;">Here&#8217;s a fast and simple redo to update a top or sweater.</span> I really liked this sweater, but it was a little boxy and I really prefer cardigans. So it sat in my closet, only worn a couple of times.
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/SxdpvrpYUDI/AAAAAAAAGu4/LSy0k_NEVdY/s1600-h/sweater+redo+213.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/SxdpvrpYUDI/AAAAAAAAGu4/LSy0k_NEVdY/s576/sweater+redo+213.jpg" /></a>
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">This is a 30 minute project. Here&#8217;s what you do:
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/SxdqLvD_ldI/AAAAAAAAGvo/klOBAMx20Jk/s1600-h/sweater+redo+175.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/SxdqLvD_ldI/AAAAAAAAGvo/klOBAMx20Jk/s320/sweater+redo+175.jpg" /></a>
</div>
<ul style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
<li>Take your sweater, find the center. Cut a straight line down the center.</li>
<li>My top was a little wide, so I cut out a 2 inch section of fabric from the center.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Take your seam tape (available in many colors from your fabric store), cut two sections of tape a little longer than the length of each sweater side.</li>
<li>Lay the tape over one of the side, folding it in half with the sweater seam in between and the sides of the seam tape matching up. Pin it in place.</li>
<li>Fold the ends of the seam tape under on the top and bottom of the sweater seam.
</li>
<li>Sew it together. and do the same thing with the other side of the sweater.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/SxdqYPEtKeI/AAAAAAAAGvw/-vsVvztzt3Y/s1600-h/sweater+redo+176.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/SxdqYPEtKeI/AAAAAAAAGvw/-vsVvztzt3Y/s320/sweater+redo+176.jpg" /></a>
</div>
<ul style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
<li>Hand sew the clasps on the inside of the sweater opening.</li>
</ul>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/SxdqvX05PtI/AAAAAAAAGwA/qAFp8wc4AV4/s1600-h/sweater+redo+178.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/SxdqvX05PtI/AAAAAAAAGwA/qAFp8wc4AV4/s320/sweater+redo+178.jpg" /></a>
</div>
<ul style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
<li>I took the leftover material, cut it into small lengths and joined it with ribbon to make a little flower embellishment.</li>
</ul>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/SxdqlOaqUlI/AAAAAAAAGv4/CmTTlZjaMSo/s1600-h/sweater+redo+177.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/SxdqlOaqUlI/AAAAAAAAGv4/CmTTlZjaMSo/s320/sweater+redo+177.jpg" /></a>
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;">&nbsp;<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/SxdpwKZCm8I/AAAAAAAAGvA/DA_CFoiG9C8/s1600-h/flower+embellishment.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/SxdpwKZCm8I/AAAAAAAAGvA/DA_CFoiG9C8/s320/flower+embellishment.jpg" /></a>
</div>
<ul style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
<li>Now go enjoy your new sweater!</li>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/Sxdp4yOwc_I/AAAAAAAAGvY/9PO4ltSsUw0/s1600-h/outside.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/Sxdp4yOwc_I/AAAAAAAAGvY/9PO4ltSsUw0/s576/outside.jpg" /></a>

</div>
