This recycled shirt cuff pouch is the perfect way to wrap up something small and makes a useful handmade gift. Fill these clever button pouches with a gift card, money, jewelry or a small surprise. The best part these little pouches can be made in minutes.

If you have a shirt that you can no longer wear this is the perfect way to recycle it. All cuffs vary in size so if you are using it for a gift card holder make sure the cuff is big enough.

Cut the cuff from the sleeve leaving about 1/2 inch of the shirt on the cuff. If you like the shirt can be trimmed even with the cuff.

Press the extra sleeve fabric to the back (wrong side).

With wrong side facing up fold the bottom up and the top down. Make sure it buttons. You can make it so it can be adjustable making either button useable (red plaid cuff) or just choose the top button (red and white check pouch). Open the top flap back out. Stitch with matching thread from the top of the flap down to the bottom on each side.

It makes the perfect little pouch for small things!

It’s perfectly small, perfectly punny AND it has a place for you to put as much “dough” as you’d like in it. You could even fill it with gift cards as well.

And there is even a little space for you to put some words of encouragement in as well…

So let’s get making…

Supplies for Pizza Box Card

• Free printables at the end of this post
• Scissors
• Glue
• Some sort of paper scoring tool

directions

1. Download, print and cut out printables. I printed mine on a gloss cover (heavy) cardstock which gave it some good weight.
2. Score on each of the white lines, cut on the red (wait on cutting out the red circle yet).
3. I always like to fold on my lines first, so do that over the whole card.
4. Start gluing on the little tabs part first. Fold them in, glue to the sides and then fold over the tops and glue the side flaps down.
5. Fold over the front panel and cut out the circle. This is easier to do right now. Place glue on the flap and secure it to make your box.
6. Glue in the two squares. I placed the “You can’t live without pizza…”on the lid and the “Congrats” on the bottom.
7. Fill it with some “dough” and give it to your favorite graduate!
8. You can tie it up with some cute string or use some washi tape to help it stay closed.
9. You are done!

These are so fun to make and so simple (especially when you have more than one graduate to give a gift too!)

I am feeling very thankful this Friday and so pleased Jennifer has given me the opportunity to share this special project of thanks with you.

AN EMBROIDERED THANK YOU GIFT CARD HOLDER

Perfect for leaving a little message of thanks during your late summer travels, or a grateful token to those around you to encourage them before the fall rush sets in! You can use the holders for a gift card or simply write a sweet not of thanks and slip inside. Tape the ends, stick a stamp on-top and the envelope can even be mailed as is, with the bow- What a fun and lovely surprise!

How to make the embroidered thank you gift card holders-

• Download the template onto heavy cardstock, your color choice, and cut the favor box out.

• You can simply fold up at this step or grab a needle and a small length of embroidery thread to make the thank you even more lovely.

• Using your thread, hand-stitch a ribbon line on the top of the bunting.

• Tie off at the ends with bows.

• Glue the small flap inside the box with a glue stick to hold together.
