<li class="ingredient">1 pound of boneless Pork Loin roast, cut into 1-inch cubes</li>
<li class="ingredient">2 (14 ounce) cans Red Enchilada Sauce</li>
<li class="ingredient">2 (15 ounce) cans White Hominy, drained</li>
<li class="ingredient">1 Onion, sliced</li>
<li class="ingredient">2 cups Chicken Stock</li>
<li class="ingredient">1/2 t.Cayenne Pepper</li>
<li class="ingredient">1 t. Oregano</li>
<li class="ingredient">1/2 cup Green Chilies, diced</li>
<li class="ingredient">1 T. Cumin</li>
<li class="ingredient">1/4 cup Cilantro, chopped</li>
<li class="ingredient">1/2 t. Salt</li>
</ul>

<li class="instruction">Heat the canola oil in a skillet over high heat. Add the pork and cook until meat is browned on all sides. About 7 minutes.</li>
<li class="instruction">Place the meat in your slow cooker. Pour the enchilada sauce over the meat. Then pour the hominy, onion, chilies, garlic, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt and oregano.Then pour the chicken stock over the mixture.</li>
<li class="instruction">Cover, and cook on high for 5-6 hours.</li>
<li class="instruction">To serve – add cilantro to the top of the soup and serve with warm tortillas and lime wedges. Also, traditionally this soup has grated cabbage over the top. Our family doesn’t love cabbage, so I left that out. But feel free to add some shredded cabbage if that sounds good to you.</li>

<p><span style="font-size: 20px;">This Posole recipe is a really mild and yummy version. My kids loved it.</span></p>
<p><em><strong><span style="font-size: 18px;">**TIP &#8212; you can buy pork roast in stew meat packages which is trimmed to about 1 inch and is perfect for this recipe. This will save you some time.</span></strong></em></p>
