<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; font-size: small;">It is time to start Christmas decorating!  </span></p>

</div>
<div align="center"><span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; font-size: small;">Wanna make your own?  Gather two different colors of burlap, some glue, and some poster board.  If you want one of those little sheet music trees you can gather that up too! <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></span></p>

<div align="center"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: small;">Wrap your poster board into a cone to make your tree form.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong><span style="font-size: large;">Can you believe that next week is THANKGIVING???</span></strong></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong><span style="font-size: large;"> </span></strong> Gah &#8211; where did the time go??</span>There is so much to DO! If you have an hour to spare, here&#8217;s a little wreath that will add a little Thanksgiving cheer to your front door:</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-QFvpYaKI/AAAAAAAANSo/3buCBB1dk9A/s1600/from+the+bottom.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-QFvpYaKI/AAAAAAAANSo/3buCBB1dk9A/s640/from+the+bottom.jpg" alt="" width="640" height="480" border="0" /></a></div>
<p>{Click on the <strong>Read More</strong> button for the full tutorial}</p>
</div>
<p><span id="more-3440"></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: large;">Here&#8217;s what you need: </span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A wreath form</li>
<li>Burlap &#8212; a 36&#8243; square piece should do</li>
<li>A few fabric scraps</li>
<li>Some Scrabble tiles**</li>
<li>Hot glue and gun</li>
<li>Two types of coordinating ribbon</li>
</ul>
<p>**<em><strong>Here&#8217;s a fun tip</strong></em> &#8212; if you want to make one of these and don&#8217;t want to destroy your Scrabble game, you can buy &#8220;lots&#8221; of Scrabble pieces on ebay or etsy. Or, if you contact <a href="http://www.scrabble-assoc.com/info/replace.html">Hasbro</a>, you can order a complete replacement set of tiles. It was around $6 for 100 pieces last year.</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: large;">Here&#8217;s what you do: </span></strong></p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-QTy8dK_I/AAAAAAAANSs/gEBfBcfXdN0/s1600/the+supplies.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-QTy8dK_I/AAAAAAAANSs/gEBfBcfXdN0/s400/the+supplies.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="267" border="0" /></a></div>
<ul>
<li>Cut two pieces of burlap about 4 inches in width by 36 inches in length. Or, if you have a long piece of burlap you can use a 72 inch strip. Hot glue one end of the strip to the back of the wreath. Then wrap the burlap around your wreath. My wreath form was 12 inches wide, so if you are using a bigger form, you will need a longer piece of burlap.</li>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-QvafKLNI/AAAAAAAANS0/fpSwsB4fpM0/s1600/the+tiles.jpg"><br />
</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"> <a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-Tc2gxD5I/AAAAAAAANTM/kSbHiVmOkFQ/s1600/rolled+flowers+2.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-Tc2gxD5I/AAAAAAAANTM/kSbHiVmOkFQ/s400/rolled+flowers+2.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="268" border="0" /></a></div>
<ul>
<li>Once the form is wrapped in burlap, set it aside. Now you will make some <strong><span style="font-size: large;">rolled flowers</span></strong>. I made  18 flowers in different sizes. For each flower, you will need a strip of material about 1 inch in width by either 32 inches, 24 inches or 18 inches, depending on how wide you want the flower to be. Fold the material in half width-wise and then roll it tightly about 8 times. Then add a dab of hot glue and twist the material around the rolled center, adding glue as you roll. The flower will continue to get bigger until you reach the end of the material. Then add some hot glue to the back and glue down the end of the material underneath the flower. For more in-depth instruction, check out my <a href="http://tatertotsandjello.blogspot.com/2010/10/inexpensive-feminine-gift-idea-to-make.html"><span style="font-size: large;"><strong>Rolled Flower Tutorial</strong></span></a>.</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-QvafKLNI/AAAAAAAANS0/fpSwsB4fpM0/s1600/the+tiles.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-QvafKLNI/AAAAAAAANS0/fpSwsB4fpM0/s400/the+tiles.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="267" border="0" /></a></div>
<ul>
<li>Now that you have the flowers made, lay out the scrabble pieces to whatever saying you want to display on your wreath. Then hot glue the tiles onto a piece of paper. Then cut out the tiles, trimming very close to the edges so no paper is showing.</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;"> <a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-Q7IThcLI/AAAAAAAANS4/XmMh8cgsFH8/s1600/scrabble+tiles.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-Q7IThcLI/AAAAAAAANS4/XmMh8cgsFH8/s400/scrabble+tiles.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="267" border="0" /></a></div>
<ul>
<li>Hot glue the Scrabble tiles to the wreath.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Now lay out the rolled flowers on the wreath. Once you are happy with the placement. Hot glue the flowers to the burlap wreath.</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;"> <a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-RJwIxUwI/AAAAAAAANS8/YURMPRfw418/s1600/the+ribbon.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-RJwIxUwI/AAAAAAAANS8/YURMPRfw418/s400/the+ribbon.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="267" border="0" /></a></div>
<ul>
<li>Cut the two coordinating ribbon for the top of the wreath. Make a loop of ribbon for the top of the wreath to hang on the door or wall. Then cut another length of the two ribbon and make a bow. Attach the bow at the top of the wreath to the loop.</li>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-RcThckqI/AAAAAAAANTA/NXAg3injOQU/s1600/bottom+half.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-RcThckqI/AAAAAAAANTA/NXAg3injOQU/s400/bottom+half.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="267" border="0" /></a></div>
<ul>
<li>Hang up and enjoy your new wreath!</li>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-SVlCbwvI/AAAAAAAANTE/E-k2K6lQpQQ/s1600/straight+on.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/TM-SVlCbwvI/AAAAAAAANTE/E-k2K6lQpQQ/s640/straight+on.jpg" alt="" width="566" height="640" border="0" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<p>**Here&#8217;s another fun idea &#8212; <strong style="color: #b45f06;">use Scrabble Holders and letters to spell out your family&#8217;s names at the table! </strong></p>

<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">A glue gun</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">spray paint</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">a butter knife</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">picture frame with glass</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">fabric of your choosing<br />
dry erase markers</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I know the butter knife is weird but it will make sense in a minute.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I found this picture frame of my now 4 year old when he was 3 month old.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeAlaSTR_I/AAAAAAAACiQ/dHawHfU_BLI/s1600/IMG_5202.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeAlaSTR_I/AAAAAAAACiQ/dHawHfU_BLI/s400/IMG_5202.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="400" border="0" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<p>I call him Wild Man.</p>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Take the picture and glass out, then spray paint that frame to whatever color your little heart desires.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Then while the frame is drying take the back of the picture and get whatever fabric that tickles your fancy.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I used burlap, just because that is what I had laying around.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Get your glue gun and glue the baby on the picture back or in my case a piece of cardboard.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeAtJ0h0TI/AAAAAAAACig/5MWpaRoDHd8/s1600/IMG_5217.JPG"><img decoding="async" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeAtJ0h0TI/AAAAAAAACig/5MWpaRoDHd8/s320/IMG_5217.JPG" alt="" border="0" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<p>Then admire you work thus far.</p>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeA1V4toKI/AAAAAAAACio/8d6VSnuhF6Q/s1600/IMG_5218.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeA1V4toKI/AAAAAAAACio/8d6VSnuhF6Q/s400/IMG_5218.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="400" border="0" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">This is where the butter knife comes in, To put the glass and board back into the frame.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeA5dBu5PI/AAAAAAAACiw/22NJ0YsaujE/s1600/IMG_5227.JPG"><img decoding="async" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeA5dBu5PI/AAAAAAAACiw/22NJ0YsaujE/s320/IMG_5227.JPG" alt="" border="0" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Those little pin things drive me crazy.That is unless you have beautiful long and strong nails. I sadly can&#8217;t top picking mine&#8230; so I use butter knives.</p>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Now my friends&#8230; you have made a<span style="color: blue;"> DRY ERASE BOARD</span>!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeA-m0-86I/AAAAAAAACi4/iv42PT9FfDM/s1600/IMG_5228.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeA-m0-86I/AAAAAAAACi4/iv42PT9FfDM/s640/IMG_5228.jpg" alt="" width="480" height="640" border="0" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">You see the glass works as a dry erase board!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">You can use it to keep up with your schedule so you just may remember to take those dern library books back.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeBITjko3I/AAAAAAAACjI/W1Uj-0UGAvI/s1600/IMG_5237.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeBITjko3I/AAAAAAAACjI/W1Uj-0UGAvI/s640/IMG_5237.jpg" alt="" width="480" height="640" border="0" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Or you can use it to write notes to your boys.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeBD1z1IgI/AAAAAAAACjA/uWfORw4Cm14/s1600/IMG_5232.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeBD1z1IgI/AAAAAAAACjA/uWfORw4Cm14/s640/IMG_5232.jpg" alt="" width="480" height="640" border="0" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">That says, &#8220;Hands belong on the OUTSIDE of your pants.&#8221;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I am sure I am not the only mom of boys that has this issue.But later on it hit me.</p>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">You can do make any picture in the house a dry erase board!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeBL9uPMNI/AAAAAAAACjQ/u2SemrPZNWw/s1600/IMG_5244.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ArQVjaa1aNg/TFeBL9uPMNI/AAAAAAAACjQ/u2SemrPZNWw/s400/IMG_5244.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="400" border="0" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>

<div align="center">Hi! My name is Kelli, and most days you can find me blogging over at <span style="color: red;">Random Thoughts of a SUPERMOM!</span> I love to be crafty, bake yummy stuff, and take pictures of my three <s>wild and crazy</s> boys. And then I love to share about all of those things on my blog.</p>
<p>I am SUPER excited to be posting at Tatertots and Jello today! Jen is such a crafty inspiration, so it is a little intimidating to post one of my projects after all the great things she has shared about. But, I knew that I had to attempt something made out of burlap. I also wanted something for my yard, because the grass here is finally starting to turn green! So I came up with a Monogrammed Burlap Garden Flag that is SUPER easy and SUPER inexpensive to make.<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_4nd4XtRpIkU/S8OYwSoQ8WI/AAAAAAAACYQ/jAn7phoRzhQ/s1600/flagtut1.jpg"><img decoding="async" alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5459375128705036642" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_4nd4XtRpIkU/S8OYwSoQ8WI/AAAAAAAACYQ/jAn7phoRzhQ/s400/flagtut1.jpg" style="display: block; height: 400px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 400px;" /></a> </div>

<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;">Here&#8217;s a little project I made when I did my closet redo. I made a few more the other day. <b>This is a stylish way to keep your jewelry or other small items organized.</b> <b style="color: #45818e;">It would also be great in an<span style="color: black;"> </span><span style="color: black; font-size: large;">office</span><span style="color: black;"> </span>to keep small things like &#8212; <span style="font-size: large;">paper clips,</span> </b><span style="font-size: large;"><b><span style="color: #45818e;">staples</span></b></span><b style="color: #45818e;">, <span style="font-size: large;">push pins</span> or <span style="font-size: large;">rubber bands</span> organized. </b></div>
<div style="color: #45818e; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S8TSAw5eV0I/AAAAAAAAKEw/L4o4feiXBo4/s1600/on+the+stairs.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" border="0" height="640" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S8TSAw5eV0I/AAAAAAAAKEw/L4o4feiXBo4/s640/on+the+stairs.jpg" width="346" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;">I used the same technique that I did when I made my burlap magnet boards, but I cut the boards narrower and then attached magnetic containers I found at IKEA.&nbsp;</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S8TSL8BjuXI/AAAAAAAAKE4/WbUIqje6VGs/s1600/the+tins.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S8TSL8BjuXI/AAAAAAAAKE4/WbUIqje6VGs/s640/the+tins.jpg" width="428" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;">I added a little<span style="font-size: large;"> bling</span> with <b style="color: #e06666;">sparkly buttons</b>. I also cut out circles of <b>scrapbook paper</b> and attached it to the back of the tins to coordinate with my closet and office. I used glue dots so if I ever want to change out the paper &#8212; it will be easy to do.</div>

<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">I have had a few people ask me to post a tutorial for my Spring burlap runner. So here it is!</div>
<div style="color: #3d85c6; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><b><span style="font-size: large;">{Spring Ruffled Table Runner}</span></b></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: large;"> </span></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: large;"> </span></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><b>Materials:</b></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Burlap</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Fabric scraps or fat quarters</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Fabric for back of runner </div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Ribbon or quilt binding</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Quilt batting</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Sewing machine and thread</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Pins</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hkWOZnvDI/AAAAAAAAJoA/rPkeGi8Czsk/s1600-h/first+pic.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" border="0" height="291" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hkWOZnvDI/AAAAAAAAJoA/rPkeGi8Czsk/s640/first+pic.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><b>Here&#8217;s what you do:</b></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">First decide how long you want your runner to be. I wanted mine to be 60 inches in length by 17 inches wide. Then cut your burlap to that size.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hknurOpVI/AAAAAAAAJoQ/wupqm7-st_Q/s1600-h/ruffled+burlap+runner+001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hknurOpVI/AAAAAAAAJoQ/wupqm7-st_Q/s576/ruffled+burlap+runner+001.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Once the burlap is cut, cut your fabric for the backing. I used two different fabrics that I alternated for the back &#8212; two panels of each fabric. If you are making panels for the back, sew them together so they are the same size as the burlap piece.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hkvVdQg0I/AAAAAAAAJoY/X20B_DvenA8/s1600-h/ruffled+burlap+runner+002.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hkvVdQg0I/AAAAAAAAJoY/X20B_DvenA8/s320/ruffled+burlap+runner+002.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Then cut your quilt batting to the same size. Lay all three pieces together, with the quilt batting in the middle. Pin it in place, then sew around the perimeter &#8212; sewing the three layers together. Then lay the runner out on your work surface. Decide where you want your big ric rac to be on the quilt. I measure to the center of the runner, and then I measure the middle of that total and put the ric rac in that space &#8212; 1/4 of the way on each side. Pin it in place, then sew it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hk8FBebnI/AAAAAAAAJog/8AqHfmBy_Rc/s1600-h/ruffled+burlap+runner+006.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hk8FBebnI/AAAAAAAAJog/8AqHfmBy_Rc/s320/ruffled+burlap+runner+006.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Now take your ribbon or quilt binding material and fold it in half, fitting the edge of the runner in the fold of the ribbon. Start the ribbon on one side of the runner &#8212; not at a corner. Pin in place all the way around the runner. At the corners, make a 90-degree fold and pin in place. Make sure to fold the end of the ribbon under so there are no fraying edges. Now sew the ribbon in place.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hlIXH0jKI/AAAAAAAAJoo/uyUD3jvIvcs/s1600-h/ruffled+burlap+runner+008.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br />
</a><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hlXF91ABI/AAAAAAAAJow/w321bgkHlRk/s1600-h/ruffled+burlap+runner+005.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hlXF91ABI/AAAAAAAAJow/w321bgkHlRk/s320/ruffled+burlap+runner+005.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Now it&#8217;s time to make the ruffles. I made mine 3.5 inches in width. I double the length of each fat quarter &#8212; 36 inches. I cut each fat quarter into two 3.5 inch wide sections, then I sewed the two pieces together. Then I sewed around the edge of each fabric strip. This keeps the fabric from fraying too much. Once I sewed around each fabric strip, I then sewed a wider strip down the entire length of each strip &#8212; making sure to back stitch at one end and not the other. Then I took the exposed ends of thread and pulled, creating a ruffle. Then I took each ruffled strip over to the runner and fit it to the width of the runner &#8212; making the ruffles uniform. I did this for each fabric strip. For a 60 inch runner &#8212; I had 13 ruffles plus the two strips of big ric rac. I spaced each of the ruffles about 3/4 of an inch apart. Once all the fabric strips were ruffled, I laid them out on the runner and then pinned them in place. It takes a little bit of patience, because you might have to rearrange the spacing so that it is all uniform.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hlfwXRTRI/AAAAAAAAJo4/NgGdUsdHWw8/s1600-h/all+layed+out.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hlfwXRTRI/AAAAAAAAJo4/NgGdUsdHWw8/s576/all+layed+out.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Then I sewed each of the ruffles onto the runner. Once the ruffles were sewn, I frayed the edges of each ruffle for a little interest.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hpHe3zlTI/AAAAAAAAJpo/kc_0duZCboU/s1600-h/ruffled+burlap+runner+023.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" border="0" height="267" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hpHe3zlTI/AAAAAAAAJpo/kc_0duZCboU/s400/ruffled+burlap+runner+023.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<p></p>
<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">And I was done!</span></div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hlseF-3aI/AAAAAAAAJpA/Xit1_FaMvM8/s1600-h/birdcage.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hlseF-3aI/AAAAAAAAJpA/Xit1_FaMvM8/s576/birdcage.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Now I have a fun, ruffly runner to brighten up my kitchen! And, it matches my ruffly burlap banner!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hlx6K7d6I/AAAAAAAAJpI/2M_dFQg49OA/s1600-h/from+the+right.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hlx6K7d6I/AAAAAAAAJpI/2M_dFQg49OA/s320/from+the+right.jpg" /></a></div>

<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hSHtx25BI/AAAAAAAAJnY/4XdED40lKoE/s1600-h/the+eggs.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hSHtx25BI/AAAAAAAAJnY/4XdED40lKoE/s576/the+eggs.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><b style="color: #e06666;">This was a really quick and easy wreath to make.</b> I think the total time was around 1 hour &#8212; including decoupaging the eggs (but not drying time). </div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hRLCmG02I/AAAAAAAAJmo/OJUmSezTQko/s1600-h/burlap+easter+wreath+001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hRLCmG02I/AAAAAAAAJmo/OJUmSezTQko/s320/burlap+easter+wreath+001.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><b>If you want to make one, here&#8217;s what you need:</b></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Wreath form: I used a 14 inch form.</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Burlap &#8212; one 3 inch wide by 4 foot long strip, plus one 8 inch wide by 6 foot long section.</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Fabric scraps</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Glue gun and glue sticks</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Sewing machine &#8212; or you could use hot glue</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Mod podge</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">3 plastic Easter eggs</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Ribbon</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">First I took the wreath form and wrapped the thinner strip of burlap around the form, covering the entire form. I hot glued the edges down. Then I took some fabric scraps and covered each of the edges of the larger piece of burlap with material down each side &#8212; 3 inches in width &#8212; I folded the fabric in two and butted the edge of the burlap against the fold of the material.{I sewed the fabric onto the burlap, but you could hot glue the material on also.}&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hRXvPDKiI/AAAAAAAAJmw/OlSsOuaU1RY/s1600-h/burlap+easter+wreath+003.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hRXvPDKiI/AAAAAAAAJmw/OlSsOuaU1RY/s320/burlap+easter+wreath+003.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">The next thing I did was sew a really wide stitch down in between the two sides, about 1/3 of the way closer to one side and 3/4 away from the other side. I backstitched on the beginning of the stitch and then left the stitches open at the other end. Then I gathered the burlap up by pulling on the exposed thread at the open end of the burlap section. I pulled it very slowly and carefully so the thread wouldn&#8217;t break. Burlap is hard to ruffle because it is so heavy, but if you are careful you can do it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hRiGS-QMI/AAAAAAAAJm4/ALGZBv5b9bg/s1600-h/burlap+easter+wreath+002.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hRiGS-QMI/AAAAAAAAJm4/ALGZBv5b9bg/s320/burlap+easter+wreath+002.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">If you don&#8217;t have a machine, you can ruffle the burlap by hot gluing folds together and creating the same look. If you want to do this, hot glue the ends of the burlap together &#8212; creating a circle. Then lay the circle on top of your wreath form. Hot glue one section on first, then take the opposite side of the circle and hot glue it onto the opposite side of the wreath form. Do this at all four points of the form. There will be a lot of fabric left over between. Then carefully make folds in the burlap between each of the glued sections, until it looks ruffled.</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Once you have ruffled your burlap material by pulling on the thread, take it and measure it next to the wreath form. Make sure it is about the same size. Then hot glue the ends of the material together, making sure the seam is to the back side of the material. Then hot glue the material onto the wreath form. The take some ribbon and hot glue it onto the ruffled burlap to cover up the stitching.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hRt5LKg9I/AAAAAAAAJnA/l6iP_soO5XQ/s1600-h/burlap+easter+wreath+004.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hRt5LKg9I/AAAAAAAAJnA/l6iP_soO5XQ/s320/burlap+easter+wreath+004.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">After that is done, take some fabric straps and cut them into very thin ribbons of material. Take half of the strips, tie them in the center with some string or one of the strips of material and hot glue that onto the form, making sure that some of the strips hang on both sides off the wreath. Then take the other strips of material, and make it into a ball and glue that ball on top of the long strips. It should look messy. Then take some burlap scraps and glue that on top of the fabric ball.&nbsp;</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hR3x8yPmI/AAAAAAAAJnI/Qr4IfH5JrgE/s1600-h/burlap+easter+wreath+006.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hR3x8yPmI/AAAAAAAAJnI/Qr4IfH5JrgE/s320/burlap+easter+wreath+006.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Now decoupage some strips of material onto your plastic eggs. I cut my material into 1 inch by 3 inch section and then I put a layer on the back of the material and smoothed it onto the egg. Then I took the next strip and smoothed it overlapping the previous strip. Do this until the egg is covered. Then add a coat of decoupaging medium over the whole egg. Let the egg dry on wax paper. Do this with all three eggs. I used different material on each egg for more color.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hR_KgYAdI/AAAAAAAAJnQ/XZX0mCN21L4/s1600-h/burlap+easter+wreath+005.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hR_KgYAdI/AAAAAAAAJnQ/XZX0mCN21L4/s320/burlap+easter+wreath+005.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Once the eggs have dried, hot glue them on top of the burlap and fabric ball. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hQ8l2U84I/AAAAAAAAJmg/7tI7TDbdOV4/s1600-h/on+the+mirror.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hQ8l2U84I/AAAAAAAAJmg/7tI7TDbdOV4/s576/on+the+mirror.jpg" width="568" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Then add some ribbon to the back of the wreath and hang it up.</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S6hSSs0JxEI/AAAAAAAAJng/E3Ox3Rt2hUo/s1600-h/first+pic.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br />

<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">&nbsp;I got to go back to Studio 5 again today to do another segment. This time we talked about burlap bracelets. It was so fun! I thought I would share the bracelets and instructions in case you want to make them!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48AhME2kdI/AAAAAAAAJLM/wyhUI1Q3A6w/s1600-h/burlap+bracelets+002.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48AhME2kdI/AAAAAAAAJLM/wyhUI1Q3A6w/s576/burlap+bracelets+002.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">You can use any bangle or cuff that you have lying around. This is a great way to repurpose old jewelry. You take your bracelet and cut a length of burlap or any other sort of fabric that is wide enough to wrap around the bracelet and meet in the center of the inside.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48AaRf1lAI/AAAAAAAAJLE/TGmBwd93kgM/s1600-h/bracelets+before.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48AaRf1lAI/AAAAAAAAJLE/TGmBwd93kgM/s320/bracelets+before.gif" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">I found some old bracelets and some new ones in the Dollar Section of Target. Run a line of hot glue in the inside of the bracelet, then gently press each of the two side together so they meet in the middle. The glue is hot, so be careful. I also gave the glue a few seconds to get tacky. Keep doing this until you get all the way around the bracelet and are meeting the other side of the burlap. Trim the burlap so that it overlaps just a little. Then run a line of hot glue under the flap and press down. Now go around the whole inside of the bracelet pressing as hard as you can to make the glue flat and give the bracelet as much room as possible. After that glue has dried, put another line of glue on top of that inside seam of burlap &#8212; all the way around. Then attach a ribbon to the inside. This makes the inside smooth and the burlap will not be able to irritate your skin.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48Aq7RT6yI/AAAAAAAAJLU/c-xPKMCoHyg/s1600-h/burlap+bracelets+003.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48Aq7RT6yI/AAAAAAAAJLU/c-xPKMCoHyg/s320/burlap+bracelets+003.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">If you are recovering a cuff, see the instructions below. And if you are doing a very thin bangle, you can use a thin strip of burlap or ribbon and wrap it around the bracelet &#8212; the same way you do with a wreath.</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48AyhwhfAI/AAAAAAAAJLc/TaKT_-LkJ2Y/s1600-h/ribbon.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48AyhwhfAI/AAAAAAAAJLc/TaKT_-LkJ2Y/s320/ribbon.gif" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Once you have the bracelets covered, now the fun begins! You can pick out the brooches/embellishments/buttons and ribbons. Have fun with it! There is a great selection of brooches at Michaels right now. Some are even on clearance for $1.99. And the regular priced $3.99 ones can be bought for less if you print off a coupon before leaving to use.</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: large;">Organza bracelet:</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48BAZ3SSvI/AAAAAAAAJLs/cjTLNKX5LeE/s1600-h/organiza+flower.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48BAZ3SSvI/AAAAAAAAJLs/cjTLNKX5LeE/s576/organiza+flower.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Apply the ribbon to the inside of the bracelet using hot glue. Take two pieces of rectangular organza in two different sizes. Make cuts around all sides of both pieces. Take a lighter or hold each one over an open flame until the organza shrinks and makes petals. Layer the larger piece on the bottom and the smaller one on top. Put a dot of Hot glue in between each layer. Apply the brooch by putting a big dab of super glue on the bottom of the brooch, and a layer of Gorilla Glue. Do the same thing to the bottom of the first organza piece &#8212; this will stick the brooch embellishment to the burlap bracelet. Let dry overnight.</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: large;">Paris Bracelet:</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48BBnmetuI/AAAAAAAAJL0/6nJucw0Jt9k/s1600-h/paris+bracelet.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48BBnmetuI/AAAAAAAAJL0/6nJucw0Jt9k/s576/paris+bracelet.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">&nbsp;Apply the ribbon to the inside of your bracelet. If you are using ribbon that will show above the bracelet, make sure it is applied very straight. Take some thin ribbon, approximately 4 feet. Wrap the ribbon around your hand, all four fingers. Then take a small, 3 inch section of the same ribbon, tie it in the middle of the loops you just made. Then fan the ribbon circles out. Put some hot glue on the back of your Paris brooch (Michaels) and attach your ribbons &#8212; make sure the center tie is lined up with the center of the brooch. Let cool. Apply a large dab of hot glue on the burlap bracelet, surrounded by a circle of Gorilla Glue. Attach your embellishment to the glue mixture. Let dry over night.</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><b>White Flower Bracelet:</b></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48BEV_sk5I/AAAAAAAAJL8/9clZ_QqdWRI/s1600-h/white+flowder+bracelet.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" border="0" height="379" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48BEV_sk5I/AAAAAAAAJL8/9clZ_QqdWRI/s400/white+flowder+bracelet.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">&nbsp;APply the ribbon to the inside of your bracelet. Then cut out a 4 inch burlap circle. Attach the burlap circle to the bracelet using a glue gun. Take another circle of burlap and layer some off-white material on the top of the circle, followed by a couple layers of tulle. String some beads in the middle of the circles, going through all the layers. Then hot glue the flower onto the bracelet. Another option is to make the flower into a pin and then just pin it onto the bracelet. That way you can use the flower for other things like wearing it on a coat or shirt.</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: large;">Silhouette bracelet:</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48BK_stShI/AAAAAAAAJME/qGYl7XUuj00/s1600-h/cxameo+bracelet.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48BK_stShI/AAAAAAAAJME/qGYl7XUuj00/s576/cxameo+bracelet.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Attach a ribbon to the inside of the bracelet. Take two 4 inch circles (I cut them out with scalloped scissors). Fold the circle in the middle, so the circle becomes an oval. Take the other circle, cut it in half and trim the sides so that it is a little smaller than the first oval. Put a small 3 inches of thin ribbon in the little opening at the top of the brooch. Attach the silhouette brooch (Michaels) with hot glue and Gorilla Glue. Once dry, attach hot glue and Gorilla Glue to the underside of the embellishment and attach it to the bracelet. Let dry overnight. </div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><img decoding="async" alt="https://tatertotsandjello.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/156d1efe-de63-4a1e-8ea0-c982518ec19c_300.jpg" src="https://tatertotsandjello.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/156d1efe-de63-4a1e-8ea0-c982518ec19c_300.jpg" /></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: large;">Art Deco Bracelet:</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48BT8pEk2I/AAAAAAAAJMM/A4Du9_zwa8U/s1600-h/art+deco+bracelet.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48BT8pEk2I/AAAAAAAAJMM/A4Du9_zwa8U/s576/art+deco+bracelet.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Get a length of decorative ribbon or trim. I used upholstery ribbon about 3 feet in length. Make loops in the center of the bracelet. Hot glue one end in the middle, then make a loop &#8211; coming back to the same spot. Hot glue that and make another loop, continuing until it goes all the way around. Then attach the art deco brooch (Michaels). This is a pin, so just pin it on the bracelet. Then if you want to use it on a jacket or something, you can take it off.</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: large;">Burlap and Silk Cuff:</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48Bv1Nx-QI/AAAAAAAAJMU/GjkODRShRDA/s1600-h/cuff+bracelet.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img decoding="async" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_NgH-mlTcwHE/S48Bv1Nx-QI/AAAAAAAAJMU/GjkODRShRDA/s576/cuff+bracelet.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">If you have a cuff you would like to cover, take a piece of burlap and a fabric pen. Trace the edge of the bracelet, and then trace the bracelet all the way across the burlap &#8211; tracing it with the pen. Then cut out the pattern. It should fit the cuff exactly. If it is a little big, you can trim it. To make the burlap stick to the metal, use super glue &#8212; I used Gorilla Glue&#8217;s super glue because it takes a couple minutes to dry and gives me time to make any readjustments. Run a line of the super glue all the way around the edges of where the burlap is going to go. Immediately press the burlap onto the cuff. Press for a few minutes. It&#8217;s also useful to roll the cuff on a hard surface to make sure it is sticking.</p>
<p>Now you can make your embellishment. You can do anything you like. On my cuff, I made a flower using silk. I cut a 3 inch section of silk, approximately 20 inches in length. I used my iron and pressed it at the center INSIDE OUT. Then I opened it up and folded each of the side of a\sides so they met at the center. Then I pressed it down flat. After that I folded the sides back in so that the edges were tucked up inside of the silk material. Then I sewed a button up through the inside of the material on one end &#8212; so the button is sticking up. Then I folded the material around the button one turn and hot glued it. Then I wrapped the ribbon around the button, turning the material 90 degrees as I turned the flower and hot glued it all the while. At the end I tucked the end underneath the flower and hot glued it in place. I attached it to a 3 inch circle that I cut out of the same material. And did this two more times &#8212; so there are a total of 3 silk circles. I hot glued each of the circles together and hot glued the flower to the silk circles. Then I used hot glue and Gorilla Glue to attach the embellishment to the cuff. Let dry overnight.</p></div>
