HI, I love your fireplace. Is it electric or gas? I thought maybe you made it. I have an electric fireplace, but it's a stove. But I've always wanted a mantel behind it. I really like yours with the stones.

I LOVE the choice for turquoise! I am 17,therefore living in the house decorated (or not so much) by my mother. I wish so bad I could talk her into a yellow slipcover. I guess I'll have to wait for my own house! I'm a big fan of your blog! Thanks.

Oh my gosh! Love the turquoise slipcover! That lady did a beautiful job! I inquired about having slipcovers made and was told that it would cost almost as much as upholstering the sofa because this man makes them tailored to your sofa, nothing like you buy out of catalogue that you have to keep tucking them in, straightening them up, etc. What type of fabric are they made from and did you have to go out and choose your material and buy it or did the lady that made them have the fabric? Another question, how easy is it to wash the slipcovers if necessary and can you do them on delicate cycle in washer/cold water? What about putting them in the dryer. I always heard you put slipcovers back on the sofa when they are slightly still damp but I'd be afraid of damage to sofa fabric, even slightly damp. I sure wouldn't want to have to iron them before putting them back on the furniture.

Hi there! I just started following your blog today after checking into a pin on Pinterest. I am squealing with delight over your turquoise slipcover! I might have a slight infatuation with turquoise. And a major infatuation with turquoise paired with yellow and gray. The whole look is awesome!
