My favorite thing about Halloween is going to the farm and picking pumpkins with my children and taking the hayride! We buy pies and eat great food from the farm…its the start of a great season!

My favorite thing is decorating. I start counting down in Sept how many more day I have until it is acceptable to put out Halloween decorations lol.

What I remember most about Halloween,is this great party my mom threw for all the neighborhood kids at our apartment when i was little. She decorated, had us bob for apples, made great treats, it was fun. That party back in 1974, gives me a wonderful memory of her. I didn't live with my mom past 1976, so I think that,s why Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.

I just remember my mom giving this halloween party for all the neighborhood kids. It was at our apartment and mom decorated and made treats, we bobbed for apples and trick or treated around the neighborhood. I remember feeling proud of my mom. It was just a special memory of my mom, that halloween party she threw back in 1974. I didn't grow up living with my mom after 1976. I think this is why I love Halloween so much and get my kids excited about it every year.
