I am starting up my own sewing business, so there are a ton of things I want to make! I want to make some car seat covers, nursing covers, baby blankets, some custom baby bedding, clothes, burp rags, diaper and wipes cases. Just to name a few. 🙂

I would like to make a quilt for my father who recently found out he has Diabetes. He’s 87 years old and lives in Western Washington state. It’s cold and wet up there more often than not so I think he would enjoy a quilt that would keep him warm physically and warm his heart. It would be made by me, the only one who sews at all in the family. I’m fairly new at this quilting craft but I love learning new things and creating quilts and throws for others. I hope I win. It would be a JOY!

I recently started sewing with my mother in-law ( she quilts and sews like crazy) while my daughter takes her naps and i think it would be much fun to create something amazing with her. She loves Riley Blake fabric and constantly tells me how amazing the fabric is. I have been making some cute ruffle dresses, rompers, pillocase dresses, and I am definitely looking firward to making some more and this fabric would be perfect. Thank you for the opportunity!
