Wow, these are fun. Having mosaiced many a pumpkin I think it may have been easier to apply gems all over, tightly and then use a sanded grout over all last. You can also color the grout with a little acrylic paint or buy sanded grout at Home Depot. Last year I covered a paper mache pumpkin all over with COPPER pennies, dryed overnight and grouted over the entire thing, then added a small bent copper pipe piece from the hardware for stem. Pumpkins have endless possibilities…I love your sparkle glitter one too! Thanks for sharing!!!
