I wanted to buy the pumpkin salad/dessert plates last year and procrastinated till the season was over and none was left. I have a similar candle holder thingy that we bought from Kirklands several years ago. The one glass hurricane globe broke(my fault)and I kept the black wrought iron candle holder things, because I figured I could do exactly or something similar to what you have done eventually. Kirklands don’t exist in our area anymore and I loved that place. I recently purchased a beautiful Fall centerpiece from Joanne’s in Columbia, Md. They have a wide range of Fall and Halloween decorations like this, and stuff that could be used year round. Only trouble is that it is 20 miles plus there. With traffic, it takes about 45-60 min. Now you know why I don’t go there that often.
I’m planning a birthday celebration for my neighbor in a few weeks. We celebrate by having dessert parties with everybody in our group taking a turn hosting. I plan to use my ecru tablecloth and that Fall centerpiece from Joanne’s and I haven’t decided which napkins to use but have those that match the ecru tablecloth, and maybe I can find some Fall napkin rings before the party.
