Goodness JEN! I’ll ruin my diet if you keep up all these great posts! i know its healthier with fruit, but i am not too sure about the cake mix :p

Hi Patti!

I sprinkled sugar to lightly cover the top of the mixture – about 1/4 of a cup. It carmelizes on top and adds a little bit of a crunchy texture 🙂

Hi Diana!

You slice off the butter and put it on top of the cake mixture right before you pop it into the oven. It was so late last night when I was writing it up that I missed putting that step in. I have updated it. Thanks!
