When we were walking through New York's Central Park a couple weeks ago, we came upon a man making giant bubbles. Ella was mesmerized. She thought it was the best thing she had ever seen. Then a couple days ago, my good Friend Rhonda posted pictures of her kids doing the same thing. I knew I needed to make some with my kids! So yesterday we did. I spent last week getting ready to go on Studio 5. I was so excited to do a demonstration on one of my favorite projects -- Subway Art! One of the projects that I made was a "Summertime" version of Subway Art! It actually ended up being … [Read more...]

Super Easy & Cute T-Shirt Refashion

flower+shirt+on+the+table[1]

This is easily my favorite and easiest t-shirt refashion that I have tried so far. All it requires is a needle and thread - no machine! I started with two clearance t-shirts from Forever 21 {$2/ea.}. I used the second t-shirt to make the flowers. But you can use leftover fabric for the flowers and then you only need one shirt. I made a sketch of what I wanted the t-shirt to look … [Read more...]

But it was fun to explore the school and meet his teachers. We have new outfits for the first day, backpacks, school supplies, lunch boxes. And … [Read more...]
