You guys are right – I am in Hawaii!!!
It is so warm and pretty — I am having a wonderful time. {Although we did have to sit through a 2 hour high-pressure timeshare spiel today}. Yesterday we even drove up to The North Shore — which is supposed to be the most famous surfing place in the world. We watched the surfers and the ginormous waves as the sun set. It was breathtaking!!!
So today I am asking : Which Island do you think I am on?

I know where your at…OAHU!!!!I live here in Oahu…Did you get some shaved ice at Motsimoto's??Best on the island..Did you go to the Dole plantation? Skip the tour because the plantation is for tourist shopping(Better deals at the stadium)and do the maze..Thats alot of fun..You need to at least hike Diamond Head..And go to Laie(on the H-3)..The temple is there..Closed for renovations but you and the hubbster could go to the Polynesian Culture Center..DO NOT MISS IT!!!And you have to do the luau..MUCH better than any of the others..Have a blast!!Hope you can see alot of the islands..At least learn to surf,play ukelele,hula and make a lei..Aloha!!!

Of course you are on Oahu! We have friends with a home on the North Shore and the waves can be incredibly high, especially in the late fall.
I hope you are enjoying a fabulous time, enjoying the sweet fragrance of the flowers and taking in the relaxation and sounds of the waves and beautiful music. I am so glad you are in one of our favorite places to go!

U R on Oahu! Make sure you stop by the famous Matsumoto's store for their famous ice cones (we call them "shaved ice" here in Hawaii). You won't regret it, plus, the have neat souvenirs!

You are on Oahu! And I might be wrong, but are you staying at the Ko Olina Marriott resort? We went there every year growing up and my parents always had to sit through a time share presentation. And the pic of you below on a balcony totally looks like where we would always stay. Am I right?
Oh how I love Oahu. We honeymooned there as well as Kauai. Have you gone to Dole? Have a pineapple ice cream cone…yum. I may have to borrow that pic of the sign…I have one taken from the car as we drove by it. lol
You are on Oahu. Have a great time. You are missing rain and snow. We quite like the Ko'Olina with Marriott. It looked very kid friendly. No pressure as we are already owners with Park City. Have a great time.

Jen, you're on Oahu! I used to live about 15 minutes from the North Shore. I learned to surf there on Christmas Day 1987. I miss it and loved every moment I spent there!

Oahu. If you are still near Haleiwa they have the best pizza parlor ever there. It is right off the main hwy that goes through town. Probably the only pizza parlor.
